Today, I feel like a Push Girl

It’s rare that popular media represents, let alone explores, the world of wheelchair users.  That’s why I was so excited to see that the reality show Push Girls was renewed for a second season!

Here’s a refresher from the first season, where audiences were introduced to four strong women who happen to be paralyzed.

From trailers, I was worried that there would more dramarama than relatable issues in the coming episodes, but I watched the premiere today and it was refreshing. Beneath the sheen of TV magic, the series presents many facts of life in a wheelchair. Check it out if you have time, and let me know what you think!
