Today, I’m remembering Shane’s remark.

When I was a freshman in college, I got super frustrated one day and said, “GRR! Why do things rarely work out as we hope?” And my friend Shane looked up and said, “Um, because they usually work out even better.”*

Time and time again, this has been the case in my life. Although things don’t turn out as I expect, things turn out better in the end. So, if you’re ever experiencing a major setback, remind yourself that it may be for the best somehow 🙂

*Shane’s logical prowess has been rewarded by the world, incidentally. He is currently a 1L at Harvard Law School.
