Life is a sexually transmitted, fatal disease

… according to the speaker at our Medical Professions lecture today. 🙂 Every week in that class, we get exposure to different branches of the field, and today, we heard from an Ob/Gyn about the history and common concerns of the specialty. It was really interesting, though I’m more interested in the Gyn than the Ob part, and the fact that they’re inextricably linked is somewhat of a deal breaker for me.

The second week is only halfway done, but it feels like we’ve been back for ages.  We had some snow earlier in the week, but not much of an accumulation.

ETA: Today’s the big game day! GTHC, GTH!!

The courtyard of the anatomy building looks especially pretty in the snow.

I’m getting used to the early morning wake ups. It still feels unnatural, but usually, the quiet chill of the morning hours makes it somewhat okay.
